Spend an afternoon in the kitchen with Chef Viola Tagliaferri and learn to make fresh pasta the way it is made in Italy: by hand, with flour, eggs, and a little patience.

The class is hands-on from the first minute. You mix the dough, knead it, let it rest, and roll it out yourself, then cut it into a classic shape under Chef Viola's guidance. Next comes the pesto — fresh basil, good olive oil, pine nuts, and Parmigiano — worked the traditional way, so you understand why texture matters as much as flavor.

When the work is done, you sit down and eat what you made.

You leave with the recipes, the technique, and the confidence to make it again in your own kitchen. Class size is limited so everyone gets real time at the board.

An Arizona Italian American Chamber of Commerce event

This Columbus Day, Pizzicata Glendale hosts the Arizona Italian American Chamber of Commerce for an evening of food, conversation and connection across Arizona's Italian business community.

The Chamber was founded in 2020 to unite the Italian business community in Arizona, fortify it, and ensure Italian-American culture continues to flourish throughout the Valley. If you were born in Italy and moved to Arizona for work, founded an Italian-based business, built your company on Italian work ethic, or simply love the Italian community and business culture — you're welcome in the famiglia.

Chef Viola Tagliaferri and the Pizzicata kitchen will be hosting the evening. Pizzicata is Arizona's first certified Pinseria.
